What is Content Marketing

What is Content Marketing?

Content Marketing is one aspect of marketing that centres on the creation and subsequent sharing of digital material. This could involve social media posts, blogs, podcasts, white papers, videos, educational resources and other captivating content. The materials themselves may not explicitly promote the brand, but instead generate interest in it’s products or services through other methods.

For a Content Marketing plan to be successful, the materials have to be valuable, relevant and consistent, targeted at a specific audience.

Content Marketing usually begins with the creation of a Content Marketing Strategy, which can then be dissected into a Content Marketing Calendar.
