Cheshire College will be delivering courses to both upskill and reskill Vauxhall workers as the Ellesmere Port factory is transformed into Europe's first dedicated electric vehicle plant.
The £100m investment by parent company Stellantis was announced last week during a press conference attended by business secretary Kwasi Kwarteng and Vauxhall Motors managing director Paul Willcox.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson also recorded a video message played at the conference which hailed the announcement as a "huge vote of confidence for Ellesmere Port".
