Cheshire Day is taking place on the 30th of March 2021, marking the date that the earliest surviving full text of the Cheshire Magna Carta was issued, and local businesses are being encouraged to join in with the virtual celebrations.
Working with Marketing Cheshire, along with Cheshire East and Warrington Councils, the Cheshire Day team have pulled together examples of how businesses can share positive messages about Cheshire on the 30th - not to encourage visits or travel outside of current regulations, but to share some positivity around the things we love about Cheshire, and the things we can look forward to in the near future.
So far, the suggestions include posting the following on social media on the 30th of March, with the #CheshireDay hashtag:
• Sharing what you love about Cheshire
• Voicing what you are looking forward to doing this year
• Highlighting any hidden gems on your doorstep
• Discussing your business' plans to reopen
• Posting photos of a meal made with local Cheshire produce
We'll share further news around Cheshire Day activity closer to the time, and we're looking forward to seeing what our local business community comes up with.
