Cheshire West and Chester Council has moved a step closer in its plans to rejuvenate Winsford town centre.
It was one of a select number of UK towns to reach the next stage in a bid for significant investment from the Government’s Future High Streets Fund.
The Council will now develop and present a full business case to Government, outlining why the town should receive the capital investment and how the money will be spent. A final decision is expected later in the year.
