A sports bar could open in a long-term empty unit part of a prominent Chester city centre building which includes a hotel and restaurants.

A premises licence application has been lodged with Cheshire West and Chester Council for the unoccupied Unit 4 of The Exchange on St John Street.

The building currently houses a 60-bed Travelodge, Pizza Express, Zuger's and Popcorn bar, as well as office space.
