Chester Northgate set for big step forward

21 November 2019

Plans for the first phase of Chester Northgate – which include an indoor market, a six-screen Picturehouse cinema, new restaurants, a public square and car park – look set to move ahead with the preferred contractor set to be confirmed next week.

If approved, this would lead to work starting in February 2020 ahead of a planned completion for the end of 2021.
