Chester businesses support local charities

CHESTER businesses have shown firm support for worthy local causes at a prestigious event.

There was a full-house attendance in the new event marquee at Boughton Hall Cricket Club for the AGM and Charity Cheque Dinner of the influential Chester Business Club.

The Lord Mayor of Chester & Lady Mayoress, Cllr Martyn Delaney and Carol Berry, were guests of honour and the event was chaired by CBC President Julie Mogan.

The AGM saw the election of Roy Shelton (MD, DropJaw Ventures) as the new club chairman, and the re-election of John Ireston (UHY Hacker Young Chartered Accountants) as club treasurer and Jan Chillery (Aaron & Partners) as the club’s solicitor.
