A new micropub business intending to open soon in Little Sutton has secured a short-term licence for the August bank holiday weekend so it can give customers "a little taste of what we have on offer".
The Crafty Tavern Ltd has obtained a temporary events licence allowing it to sell alcohol for off-site consumption through takeaway or delivery.
The business submitted a change of use application back in May to turn 335 Chester Road into a micropub.
The premises was previously occupied by Full House Furniture, who have continued trading online.
