Drop-in session to be held for residents and businesses affected by flooding

Northwich residents and businesses affected by the recent floods have been invited to attend a drop-in session, where they can receive information and advice.

A total of 17 businesses in the town centre were affected by a record rise in the Weaver and Dane rivers, with six suffering significant damage.

And all of those affected are welcome to attend the drop-in event which will be held at Northwich Memorial Court next Tuesday.

The Environment Agency will lead the session to provide information and advice to residents and businesses.

Those expected to attend are the Environment Agency, United Utilities, Canal and River Trust, police and fire services, The Flood Hub and various teams from Cheshire West and Chester Council.
