Electric Vehicle Rapid Charging Facility

1 November 2021

Cheshire West and Chester Council in partnership with the Cheshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) are pleased to confirm our support for local businesses as we start our journey to net zero.

As nations meet in Glasgow for COP26 to agree the way forward for global reductions in carbon emissions, the Government has already announced its plan to decarbonise transport. From 2030 the sale of petrol and diesel cars and vans will end and this will affect your business.

The Council and LEP are pleased to introduce our new electric vehicle rapid charging facility next to the National Waterways Museum (Boat Museum), South Pier Road, Ellesmere Port. This facility with its twin rapid chargers is conveniently located for you and your suppliers to help enable you to make the move to electric vehicles.
