A historic Chester building and former pub will be turned into shopping units.
Plans have been approved for five new shopping units at 15-23 Frodsham Street in Chester.
The planning application was submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council on February 3 by Raise Architects on behalf of Stanthorne Ltd, and has now been approved.
The buildings were constructed in the late 1800s, with 15 Frodsham Street and 17-21 Frodsham Street being designated Grade II listed buildings.
In the 1980s, the buildings were combined, with the three structures being separated into into Yates's nightclub, a hairdressers and a Chinese restaurant.
