Invitation to Tender: Natural Capital Audit and Investment Plan

5 March 2020

In July 2017 Cheshire and Warrington launched its refreshed Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) which sets out the sub-region’s growth ambitions to 2040. The refreshed SEP sets out the high-level vision to double the size of the Cheshire and Warrington economy by 2040, founded on a series of spatial and thematic priorities including Quality of Place. As part of its Quality of Place Strategy, the Cheshire and Warrington LEP has identified the need for a Natural Capital Audit and Investment Plan to support the delivery of its Strategic Economic Plan.

The LEP is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced consultants to support the LEP in the development of a Natural Capital Audit, Investment and Implementation Plan. We are looking for an innovative and cutting edge approach for this study which includes a variety of tasks and may require a multi-disciplinary approach including, environmental economics, natural capital accounting, investment, ecosystem services, nature-based solutions, opportunity mapping, infrastructure planning, design and stakeholder engagement.

The deadline for submissions is 12 noon on Monday 30th March 2020.
