New Ellesmere Port micropub set to open in June

Bondies Bar Micropub, situated in a former bridal shop in Ellesmere Port, is now set to open in time for when lockdown restrictions are currently planned to end in June.

Announcing the news on their Facebook page, the owners said it's been a 'long 20 months', but they have signed a lease for the new micropub and all planning, building control and licensing approval has been granted.

They said: "Well it has been a long 20 months but today we can announce, Bondies Bar Micropub have now signed the lease for their new home.

"All planning, building control and licensing approval has been granted.

"It will now be full steam ahead in the coming weeks and months to get the building totally renovated, to a high standard, ready for opening in June."

The owners added that they have been in talks with the 'best microbreweries in the area' to bring the best line up of alcoholic beverages.

They added: "I can now also give you some more details on what you can look forward to.

"We have been in talks with some of the best microbreweries in the area, some you would of heard of and some you would not heard of.

"We are going to give you the best line up of locally crafted, beers, lagers, ciders, gins, rums, whiskies, wines and much, much more for your enjoyment, in a lovely friendly environment.

"No more travelling to Liverpool or Chester to enjoy a quality drink, it will be right on your door step.

"In the meantime please all stay safe, and thank you all for your patience and support, the long wait is nearly over."
