Rhino Products Group

13 January 2022

The boss of an Ellesmere Port-based manufacturer of light commercial vehicle accessories has hailed an "exceptional year" in which turnover soared.

Steve Egerton, chief executive of Rhino Products Group, said the business was "extremely proud" to have had its most successful year to date.

Turnover as a group rose from £17.9m to £22.9m, growing considerably across the UK and Europe, for the year ended 30 April 2021.

Rhino Products designs and produces external load carrying and restraint systems. These are designed to address health and safety concerns of major fleet owners, as well as providing reliable goods for SMEs.

It operates two factories in the UK and further sites in The Netherlands, Poland and Sweden.

Egerton noted that the success had been achieved despite "global challenges" that faced the industry throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

While Egerton noted the "significant challenges" presented by the pandemic, with soaring demand and escalating costs, he praised the procurement and planning teams at Rhino, who he said have "successfully dealt" with these challenges.

Looking ahead, Egerton added: "All of our colleagues at the Rhino Products Group have played a vital role in our continued success throughout the last year, and I look forward to continuing this growth as we enter into 2022."
