Signage Specialists to Deliver Project

4 November 2021

Cheshire-based signage specialists Signs 24-7 has been appointed to deliver a window vinyl project.

The scheme is part of a re-opening programme that Cheshire West and Chester Council is working on with partners to support and accelerate economic recovery.

It is being facilitated by the government's 'Welcome Back Fund'.

The main aim of the scheme is to improve the apperarance of high streets, towns and the city centre.

The scheme will initially be rolled out across Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich and Winsford.

Empty commercial units will be brought to life with designs and murals to help connect visitors and residents with the places they live, work and spend leisure time.

This is part of a programme of work to help drive footfall, raise dwell time and increase local spend with retailers, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, cultural and visitor economy providers.

The work was awarded following a competitive tender process.

It comes only a few months after the company delivered a Covid-19 high street recovery project on behalf of Halton Borough Council.

All of the designs are set to be rolled out later this autumn.
