A new steakhouse restaurant and cocktail bar could soon be opening in Chester city centre.

North East-based restaurant group Tomahawk Steakhouse is planning to fill the vacant Newgate Street premises formerly occupied by Brazilian eatery Picanha by Fazenda.

The popular chain, which has a number of venues across the country including sites in Stockton Heath, York, Newcastle and London, has submitted a premises licence application to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
