Young People Market

25 March 2022

As part of a project supported by the West Cheshire Business Support Programme, Christleton High School and Archers Brook SEMH School will be setting up ‘pop up’ shops in Chester Market this weekend Saturday 26th March, just in time for Mother’s Day!

The students will get a taste for retail as they have the chance to flex their entrepreneurial muscles after being busy making and creating unique and artisan gifts for Mother’s Day.

This is also a fabulous chance for them to explore their creativity and design skills but also to practise customer service and retail skills.

Carol Vella, Business Development & Stakeholder Manager at the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce, organised the event and commented “We are really excited to see the products that the students have made and look forward to giving them an insight into running a retail store. Experiences like these are invaluable for young people and we hope that it will help them when they leave education and start their careers. Please do come along and see what they have to offer!”

So, we’d invite you to pop along and pick up something special for your loved ones this weekend as part of this one-off opportunity on Saturday 26h March between 10-4pm at Chester Market.

This will be a cash only stall so make sure you bring your money and support budding young entrepreneurs!
