Event description

The hardest part about starting up is starting out. This is why we have organised a Start Up Saturday to get you motivated and full of knowledge so you can make a giant leap towards creating your business!

If you are working and dreaming of having your own business; or are simply not sure how to go about starting a business; then you need to come along.

It doesn’t matter what your idea is or what your circumstances are – we are here to help you turn your ideas into reality – no matter how big or small!

This fully funded workshop will cover:

Understanding the Basics: (Morning)

  • Where are you now? – what is your idea?
  • How can you test, check and validate your ideas?
  • What essentials do you need to operate your business?
  • What about the money? How will you survive?
  • Putting a plan together

Light lunch.

Marketing & Communications (Afternoon)

  • What is Marketing?
  • How it has changed and become more digital and how will this affect your business?
  • Developing the right Proposition for your market
  • Reaching your customers – choosing your channels
  • Building your Brand
  •  Communicating your offer

The workshop is run by Tim Ashcroft, a Winsford-based entrepreneur who set up his business Innovas here 18 years ago; working in conjunction with Cheshire West & Chester Council. Tim brings his personal experience of the challenges, disasters and successes since he started and the many lessons learned on the way!

Places are limited, book early to avoid disappointment. If you have any questions, please email tim.ashcroft@innovas.co.uk or call Tim on 01606 551122.
