Three fast paced 15 minute talks, each with Q&A: AI Practical first steps for Business || Tendering with AI || Marketing with AI
AI is moving fast but most business owners don’t need hype. They need clarity, confidence, and practical tools they can use immediately.
This half-day Cheshire Business Focus event cuts through the noise and shows how AI can help you work more effectively and deliver real results.
The session will be welcomed and chaired by Michael Shiels, who will guide the morning, introduce speakers, and keep discussions focused. We will then move into three short practical talks, each offering real examples and followed by open face-to-face networking.
AI Practical first steps for Business: A clear, practical introduction to what AI can do for you right now by Tim Ashcroft who is still learning but is already seeing practical results.
Tendering with AI: How AI can support bid writing, research, compliance checks, and narrative development to help you submit stronger, more competitive tenders led by Rachel Ellis.
Marketing with AI: Practical ways to use AI for strategy development, content creation, branding, customer engagement, and campaign planning with examples you can apply immediately led by Peter Gaunt
9:00 - Registration, Tea/Coffee, Cake and Networking, then at 9.30 three short workshops each with Q&A, finishing with Open Networking till 12pm - a chance to explore ideas, ask deeper questions, and build new relationships.
Cheshire Business Focus last met in 2018 and now it’s back with a focused, high-value, face-to-face session designed for ambitious SMEs, start-ups, and business leaders.
Who Should Attend
SMEs, start-ups, freelancers, consultants, marketers, bid writers, and business owners who want to understand AI in a practical, business-focused way without jargon or overwhelm.
Why This Event Matters
AI is no longer optional it’s a competitive advantage.
This event is about using AI sensibly, confidently, and profitably in real businesses – without overwhelm or hype.
