Event description
Places are limited, book early to avoid disappointment
Join Cheshire West and Chester Council, Chester Zoo and partners as we come together at the West Cheshire Action on Climate and Nature event, an afternoon exploring how nature-based solutions, community spirit and innovation is helping the borough to accelerate our journey to net zero, building a greener, fairer future for all.
The event will include the official launch of the borough’s Climate Emergency Response Plan, highlight Chester Zoo’s Networks for Nature partnership and the range of powerful projects already making a difference in the borough.
This inspiring event will:
• Celebrate local climate successes and the people and organisations behind them
• Spark new collaborations across communities, businesses, and local leaders
• Amplify youth voices—giving young people a platform to share their hopes, concerns, and ideas
• Explore opportunities for sustainable jobs and a thriving green economy
• Build momentum for real change in west Cheshire
Professionals from the environmental, energy and land sectors, local businesses, public, private and third sector partners, young people and community groups, among others, will come together to explore how we can jointly play our part in tackling a global challenge that is fair, achievable and equitable to all our community.
An agenda for the afternoon will be shared with those registered to attend ahead of the event.
We look forward to seeing you there.
