Event description

Cheshire West and Chester Council is working with a number of partners to delivery their Year 3 UKSPF Business Support Programme.

Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is delivering the UKSPF funded Cheshire Innovation Network (CIN) project. This fully funded support aims to unlock sustainable growth by developing products, services, or internal processes with their structured innovation standard operating procedure (SOP).

What we offer in this 2 day programme, starting at 9.30am and finishing at 4.30pm on both days:

1. Repeatable structured framework for innovation within your business.

  • Assess the capacity of your business to scope, initiate and deliver on innovation.
  • Ensure your innovation meets a real market or business need.
  • Identify promising ideas and refine them into strong concepts.
  • Prototype your process, product, or service the lean way.
  • Understand the ecosystem of support available.
  • Design a strategic test marketing plan to unveil the potential (or pitfalls) before full launch or implementation.
  • Support with a custom action plan for funding applications.

2. Follow-up sessions to fine-tune your innovation. Up to 15 hours of 1-1 mentorship with our industry partner, Barclays.

3. Develop a peer support network of like-minded business leaders in a strategic space away from the business.

4. Bring your team to separate masterclasses to support your innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

5. Support with the access to fully funded and match funded grants.

No catch!

This is fully funded support for SMEs in the manufacturing, production, or engineering related sectors with at least a trading address in Cheshire West and Chester (CWaC).
