Chester Butchers announced as finalist for national award

A butchers in Chester has been announced as a finalist for a national award. 

National Craft Butchers has announced its shortlist for the upcoming British Butchery Awards, which recognises the finest talents in the butchery industry from across the UK.

SJ Bebbington, in Five Ashes Road, Westminster Park, has been recognised in the North of England – Small category.

The business, which offers a range of traditional cuts, alongside speciality products, and mouth-watering pre-prepared options, will compete against W Alderson & Son (Darlington) and Yorkshire Craft Butchery (Hudderfield), for the award.

Each finalist has been successful in proving their commitment to service, sustainability, the wider industry, and butchery within their businesses.

Eleanor O’Brien, managing director of National Craft Butchers said: “We are blessed with some of the most talented butchers in the world.

“The British Butchery Awards offers them the chance to have their moment in the limelight and be recognised by their fellow butchers.”
