Chester: Top chef to open restaurant at former Da Noi site

An award-winning chef is set to open a new all day dining restaurant in Chester.

Independent hospitality group, Open Restaurant Group (ORG), owned by chef Andrew Sheridan and business partners Sam and Emma Morgan, will take over the site of Michelin-rated Italian, Da Noi, in Bridge Street.

The new restaurant will be rebranded as Noted.

The acquisition takes the number of restaurants owned by the fast-growing business to eight.

This includes Mr Sheridan’s flagship three-AA Rosette restaurant 8 by Andrew Sheridan in Liverpool, Sow in rural Worcestershire, OXA in Wirral and Dishes in Prestatyn.

The chef, who trained at Michael Caines’ fine dining restaurant in Abode Hotel in Chester, said: “I spent the first part of my career working in Chester, and I regularly visit the city for dining, so I was always keen to open my own restaurant there.
