GreenThumb Chester and Northwich celebrates 20 years

A lawn care business based in Chester and Northwich is celebrating 20 years since establishing its franchise.

Tony and Karen Mazzotti own and operate GreenThumb Chester and Northwich, established the business in 2005.

Since then, the couple have transformed their GreenThumb business into a trusted name, delivering a bespoke localised high-quality lawn care service and hard surface treatments to over 2,700 homes and businesses across Cheshire.

Tony and Karen’s story began in Italy, where they met and worked in the travel industry. Their shared passion for customer service laid the foundation for what would become their future business ethos.

“Chester has always felt like home – it was the perfect place to build a life and a business,” said Karen.

“We both have a hands-on leadership style, I oversee the operations and staff management, while Tony leads sales, marketing, and the day-to-day running of the business.

Based in Great Barrow with a dedicated team of eight, including four highly-experienced lawn operatives and two part-time administrative staff, the business has grown steadily over two decades.
