A popular Winsford restaurant has scooped two awards at this year's Prestige Curry Awards.
Bombay Lounge is officially the best restaurant in Cheshire and owner Afzal Hassan was named Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.
The double honours come hot on the heels of the Wharton Road venue taking two Best of 2024 titles for Mid Cheshire – Best for Curry and Best Restaurant – for the third year in a row.
When he took over at Bombay Lounge – formerly Bombay Tea Lounge – on Wharton Road in Winsford five years ago he had big plans to make the restaurant a success and he wanted to share his passion for different cuisines and make the business thrive.
The Winsford venue offers dine in, takeaway and delivery services and there are plans to expand the business in the future.
