JD Gyms opens first Chester location at Greyhound Retail Park

JD Gyms have opened their first location in Chester at Greyhound Retail Park. 

The sports retailer, which has nearly 100 gym locations across the UK, says its new Chester site offers an award-winning fitness experience, with cutting-edge equipment, stylish interiors and a great atmosphere.

Members can expect a bespoke fitness space with industry-leading equipment and modern amenities.

A custom-built functional rig from leading fitness supplier Eleiko has been installed, with barbells, plates and a host of accessories, including kettlebells and dumbbells.

The gym features and extensive range of free-weights, along with benches and plate-loaded equipment supplied by Hammer Strength, accommodating beginners and seasoned gym-goers.

Cardio equipment including treadmills, cross-trainers, rowing machines and exercise bikes is also provided, together with luxury training rooms including lockers, shower facilities and separate male and female saunas.

The new gym will also be open 24 hours a day.
