Local Solicitor Recognised as a Leading Partner in The Legal 500 2026

Susan Howarth & Company Solicitors are delighted to announce that Victoria Poole, Director and Family Law specialist, has been named a Leading Partner in the Legal 500 2026.

The Legal 500 defines Leading Partners as the strongest partners in their field, leading on market-leading deals and endorsed by peers and clients alike.

This prestigious recognition celebrates Victoria's exceptional skill, professionalism and the compassion she brings to every case. Specialising in complex, high-net-worth financial matters, financial remedies, and domestic abuse cases - including those involving coercive control - Victoria is known for her technical expertise and her empathetic approach to supporting clients through difficult times.

As The Legal 500 notes, "Victoria's clients and peers find her highly engaging, focusing on challenges and specific problems. She is responsive to clients' concerns, flexible in providing compassionate professional support, and strikes the perfect balance between getting the job done and caring about her clients' wellbeing and their future."

Having worked in the legal sector since the age of 16, Victoria has built a remarkable career spanning over 25 years. She joined Susan Howarth & Company in 2005, became a Director in 2017, and is a Resolution-trained Mediator, Resolution Accredited Specialist in Domestic Violence and Children Law (private), and an FMC Accredited Family Mediator.

Victoria has been ranked by Chambers & Partners, notoriously the most difficult legal directory to crack, for the last 5 years and again in 2026, but being recognised as a Leading Partner in her field by The Legal 500 is the icing on the cake for Victoria, and a real testimony to the lawyer she is.

Victoria's dedication, integrity and genuine care for her clients have earned her not only this outstanding recognition but also the lasting trust of the local community.

Everyone at SH&Co. couldn't be prouder.
