Winsford's 'buzzing' artisan market returns to Civic Square

Winsford's new artisan market which left the town centre 'buzzing with energy' is back.

The success of the first market on Saturday, May 31, saw Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) move to make the event a permanent fixture in Winsford’s events calendar on the first Saturday of every month.

D&D director, Caitlin Reynolds, said at the May event, some traders sold out ‘in a matter of hours’.

Traders at this Saturday’s market will be selling potted plants, home and garden accessories, 3D prints, pet treats, crystals, candles, flowers, and more.

Food stall will be selling everything for cheeses, olives, chutneys, sauces, and fancy alcohol through to ready-to-eat treats like pizzas, burgers, pies, Indian snacks, pastries, cakes, and doughnuts.

The next Winsford artisan markets will take place on July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4, and November 1.

CWAC’s cabinet member for inclusive economy, regeneration, and digital transformation, Cllr Nathan Pardoe, said: “The feedback we have had from customers, traders, and town centre businesses alike about Winsford’s first Artisan Market has been incredible.

“I am delighted to confirm that the artisan market will become a regular event, taking place on the first Saturday of each month.”
