Barnyard opens Dog Den indoor dog play centre near Northwich

A new indoor dog play area is giving pet owners more reasons to wag their tails.

Barnyard Pet & Equestrian Supplies, based at Cosgrove Business Park in Anderton, has launched its 'Dog Den', which is now open for pre-booked sessions and offers a weatherproof space for dogs to play, socialise, and wash up after muddy adventures.

Designed to be safe, inclusive and fully accessible, the venue aims to provide enrichment, fun and community for both pets and their owners.

Laura Edgeley, owner of Barnyard, said: "Dog Den has been created to give local dog owners a friendly, accessible space where dogs can have fun and owners can feel part of a community.

The facility features an indoor sensory play area filled with toys and confidence-building equipment, making it suitable for puppies, high-energy dogs, and those who need a calmer environment.

A self-service dog wash equipped with professional-grade equipment is also available on site, providing a convenient solution for cleaning up after walks or play sessions.

Dogs must be supervised by owners at all times while using the facilities.

Currently, the team offers multiple-dog sessions so that dogs from different households can use the facility together, but it is hoped private sessions will be introduced in due course.

The Dog Den is the latest addition from Barnyard Pet & Equestrian Supplies, an independent retailer serving Northwich and the surrounding rural community.
