Businesses vote a resounding Yes to Gadbrook Park BID4

The Gadbrook Park Business Improvement District BID wil continue for another five years after businesses voted "yes" by an overwhelming majority in the ballot. Ninety-four of the businesses were in favour of another term for the Gadbrook Park BID, with BID4 getting underway on 1st November 2024.

With over 80 unique business premises and 70 businesses the Gadbrook Park BID, this provides an opportunity for companies and organisations to take a central role and be a leading influence in the area's success.

The result means that £1.2 million worth of projects and initiatives will now be delivered on Gadbrook Park to support businesses over a 5-year term, allowing the BID to build upon the work they have carried out over the last 15 years.

Going forward the Gadbrook Park BID will aim to retain Gadbrook's position as a flagship business park in Cheshire, ensure the park is safe and secure, and make it greener, cleaner, and more sustainable for companies, organisations, and their employees.

Chris McLaughlin Chair of Gadbrook Park BID said: "The improvements and services delivered by the Gadbrook Park BID over the past 15 years are numerous, wide ranging, and important. I am delighted businesses have voted to continue the work of the Gadbrook Park BID. The new Business Plan provides an excellent vision for a better Gadbrook Park. Now we can get on with the job of delivering it."

Hugh Shields, Business Improvement Districts Manager for Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside, is delighted with the result and can't wait for BID4 to start.
