Chester clothing brand BEPO finalist for business awards

A Chester clothing brand has been chosen as a finalist for a national small business.

BEPO, created by husband-and-wife team Ben and Natalia Taylor, has been selected for the Legacy Award at this year's Small Awards.

Now in it’s ninth year, the awards, organised by Small Business Britain and sponsored this year by Constant Contact, champion the nation’s 5.5 million small firms.

The clothing and lifestyle brand was also launched nine years ago after co-founder Ben was diagnosed with ADHD, depression and anxiety.

Focus, talking and helping others all benefit Ben’s mental health and have become a key feature of the brand’s designs.

BEPO have produced hoodies, t-shirts and even a book sharing positive messages about the importance of positivity and discussing mental health.

BEPO also delivers talks and workshops at schools, colleges and universities.

The brand is one of eight finalists for the Legacy Award for best family business.

There are 11 different awards in total, highlighting small firms in areas from sustainability to digital adoption.

Ben and Natalia said: “We are thrilled to be chosen as finalists and we're looking forward to flying the BEPO positivity flag and celebrating with all the other amazing small business finalists in London next month.”
