Chester's Makers Market set to return to city on May 3

The Makers Market will be showcasing the best of the North West at Chester on Saturday, May 3, with residents and visitors urged to visit.

Set up outside the Town Hall, the monthly market and family-friendly extravaganza will have groovy tunes by Victoria May, ice cream in the sunshine by Cheshire Fudge Company, local artists and of course the finest artisan eats and sweet treats.  

There will be more than 75 incredible handmade small businesses being showcased, meaning visitors will be absolutely spoilt for choice.

A market spokesperson said: “Get ready to indulge in an amazing variety of mouth watering foods.

“This includes sausage rolls, free-from bakes, pies, curries, samosas, olives, Turkish delight, baklava, cannoli, fudge, brownies, stuffed cookies, doughnuts, Lebanese street food, cookie pies and hot sauce.

“There’s plenty for the handmade, artisan product enthusiasts too.

“Stalls include jewellery, children’s clothing, art prints, greeting cards, pet accessories, puzzles, recycled sunglasses, crochet, candles, crystals, blankets, cushions, among others.

The Chester Makers Market, takes place on the first Saturday of every month outside the fabulous new Chester Market Hall and the beautiful Town Hall.

The spokesman added: “Join us to discover a diverse range of unique, high-quality products crafted by local small businesses. 

The market will be based in Exchange Square on Saturday, May 3, from 10am to 4pm.
