Ellesmere Port: Farmfoods reopens replacing Halfords store

Farmfoods has officially reopened in Ellesmere Port at a new location, replacing the former Halfords site.

The supermarket chain announced that its new store was up and running this week after moving from the Port Arcades to Westminster Retail Park, Station Road.

The Halfords store at the retail park had been vacant since October last year, while the previous Farmfoods store at the end of Snowden Road closed at the beginning of May.

The Station Road unit has now been transformed, with freezer aisles carrying a range of frozen food products that the Scottish retailer is known for, as well as a range of popular branded products.

The new store also carries a range of groceries, chilled foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, and household items.

A spokesperson for Farmfoods said: "The new shop is more than double the size of our former site and offers our full range of branded and own-brand products.

"The location also benefits from a large free customer car park and will be open seven days a week.

"Customers can visit www.farmfoods.co.uk to sign up to receive occasional special offers, discounts and exclusive deals.

"After signing up they will also be emailed some personal money-off vouchers for extra savings on their shopping."
