Employers invited to University of Chester jobs fair

Employers are being invited to connect with student talent at the University of Chester's first Part-time Jobs Fair.

The event, organised by the university’s Careers and Employability service, will take place on Friday, October 10, from 11am to 1.30pm at Exton Park in the Downes Sports Hall.

Employers are invited to promote part-time and seasonal vacancies during the university’s Welcome Week, which marks the start of the new academic year.

Kirsty Badrock, employer engagement co-ordinator at the University of Chester, said: "With over 16,000 students, many of whom are keen to earn extra income alongside their studies, the University of Chester recognises the value of part-time work.

"Not only does it help students financially, but it also equips them with valuable skills and experience that enhance their future career prospects."

Employers can book a free recruitment stand to meet students face-to-face, raise their organisation’s profile, and discuss available job opportunities.

The fair is part of the university’s Earn While You Learn campaign, aimed at helping students find flexible work that fits around their studies.

Participation is free of charge for employers, but early booking is advised.
