Godstall Lane

Plans to turn vacant offices into holiday apartments on one of Chester's surviving medieval lanes known as the "romantic heart" of the city have been given the green light.

The proposal to transform the first and second floors of the empty office space on Godstall Lane into four holiday lets has been rubber-stamped this week by Cheshire West and Chester Council. The property has been used as two separate offices in the past, with one having remained vacant since 2016 and the other being left empty two years later.
