RSK director becomes chair of UK Environmental Law Association

An RSK Group director with more than 20 years’ experience in the environmental sector, Warren Percival, has become the UK Environmental Law Association’s new chair following the organisation’s annual general meeting.

Warren, a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and a chartered environmentalist, follows Ned Westaway in this role and will hold the position for the next two years.

He said: “I’m excited and honoured to be invited to help lead the UK Environmental Law Association and will be working closely with our newly appointed executive director, Gareth de Graaff.

“I believe that our organisation has a unique position within the UK to really drive improvements in environmental law by sharing information, continuing to use our collective power to gather our members’ views from members and respond effectively to government consultations, and to use our platform to provide an opportunity for debate on better environmental law.

“We wish to achieve a balance between being a single point of information for environmental law discussion, provoke debate, and remain relevant for barristers, lawyers, advocates, planners and environmental consultants both now and in the future.”
