WCNW Chamber's annual ball and awards at Chester Racecourse

Businesses from across North Wales and Cheshire came together for a glamorous celebration.

Earlier this month the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce welcomed more than 350 guests to Chester Racecourse for its Annual ball and recognition awards. Headline sponsored by Azets and themed around Hollywood glamour, the evening was a celebration of the region's thriving business community.

Back to host for another year, journalist and broadcaster Sian Lloyd invited Chamber chair Helen Nellist to the stage to thank Azets and introduce the event's two charities - 2Wish and Here and Now Chester.

Sian then led the awards ceremony, which featured 11 categories and over 100 incredible entries.

After the awards, guests took part in a charity raffle, purchasing chocolates sponsored by Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with proceeds going to the two charities.

Local artist, Anchen Bamford, wowed guests by creating a live painting throughout the evening. The one-of-a-kind mixed media piece, inspired by the organisations, businesses, and charities within our Chamber network, raised a significant amount as part of the auction.

The celebrations continued with a light-hearted game of pass-the-parcel for a bottle of champagne, followed by live music from local band Rhythm Train.

Sarah added: "We're so grateful to everyone who donated, supported, and joined us this evening. It's been an unforgettable night filled with laughter, generosity and community spirit, a true reminder of what makes the Chamber so special."
