1539 Restaurant

Chester Racecourse's award winning 1539 restaurant has revealed a new look for autumn, following on from the introduction of a new roof terrace.

The team at 1539, alongside designer Katie McCarthy, founder of interior experts Design Equals, have been bringing some of the greenery on the outside in and making the most of the floor to ceiling windows as part of the revamp.

A Racecourse spokesperson said that while the roof terrace space refurbishment was about bringing the inside out, the team at 1539 chose to bring an organic botanical feel into the restaurant, to mirror the impressive views out over the racecourse.
