200 Degrees Coffee Shop

Chester's newest coffee shop - complete with a barista school - is preparing to open its doors this weekend.

200 Degrees is launching a new venue on Bridge Street in Chester, its 19th in the UK. Housed in the former Patisserie Valerie building, the new coffee shop opens at 9am on Saturday (May 27).

It's breathing new life into a unit which has lain empty since 2019, with the team from 200 Degrees transforming it into what they describe as the sort of "cool and cosy location that has become with synonymous with the 200 brand". The shop will offer a range of food and drink, including cake and deli-style sandwiches, with vegan and gluten-free options available to eat in or take-away.
