CEO appointed at 3i Infrastructure-backed SRL Traffic Systems

Winsford-based SRL Traffic Systems, a manufacturer and supplier of portable and temporary intelligent transport system (ITS) systems, has appointed a new chief executive to lead the next phase of its growth.

Paul Lewis joins SRL from temporary security specialist VPS Group, where he was UK and Ireland divisional CEO.

He has more than 20 years’ experience leading large, operationally intensive service businesses, including senior roles at HSS Hire, Industrial Cleaning Equipment (ICE) and Rentokil Initial.

Lewis joins SRL at an exciting time for the company, which, backed by its owner 3i Infrastructure, continues to expand its pioneering REMOS offering – the UK’s first scalable remotely operated mobile signal system  – designed to improve the safety of road workers and site personnel.
