A LANGUAGE expert who once translated for a winery has turned her passion into a new business.
Chester resident Debbi Jones has launched Cheshire Mersey Local Wine School, offering relaxed wine tastings, courses, and experiences across the region.
After a 15-year career as a French and German translator, Ms Jones decided to combine her love of languages with her growing interest in wine.
She said: "Translation is about taking information and reformulating it in a way that people can understand, and wine education is very similar.
"I’ve always loved learning, explaining things and helping people feel more confident, so this felt like a natural next step."
