Chester Market

Chester's new market is celebrating its first birthday with the news that it has now welcomed over two million visitors. The market opened its doors on November 8, 2022 and is holding a weekend of celebrations and fundraising to mark the occasion.

Since it opened, it has gone on to attract millions of people keen to soak up the atmosphere and the range of products and food and drink on offer. It has also helped to create or safeguard more than 150 jobs, while picking up a number of awards and commendations for both the market as a whole and for its traders.
