Clean Energy Apprentices

Up to £10,000 Available for SMEs Taking on Clean Energy Apprentices.

Are you an SME in Cheshire West & Chester working in construction, engineering, manufacturing, agriculture, transport or energy?

The Employer Incentive Scheme provides up to £10,000 per business to help cover:
• Recruitment costs
• Equipment & PPE
• Staff backfill or mentoring costs
• Administration
• Travel
• Employer fees

This programme is designed to reduce barriers and help businesses engage with apprenticeships for the first time.

Applications close 31 March 2026. Apprentices must be enrolled and employed by 30 June 2026.
