DeFINE Food and Wine in Sandiway celebrates 25 years

A popular wine merchant and deli is celebrating 25 years in business.

DeFINE Food and Wine in Sandiway first opened its doors in 2000 and has since grown from a small wine shop into a popular dining destination, offering Mediterranean-inspired plates and one of the UK’s most eclectic wine collections.

Founder Jon Campbell said: "We always set out to create more than just a wine shop.

"We wanted a place where people could discover great wines, enjoy good food and feel at home any time of day.

DeFINE now offers more than 1,700 wines and spirits, with more than 30 available by the glass and the option for guests to enjoy any bottle from the shelves in the restaurant with a corkage fee.

The venue caters to guests throughout the day, serving artisan coffee and pastries in the morning, deli-style dishes at lunch, and small plates in the evening.

DeFINE is also one of just seven restaurants in Cheshire listed in The Good Food Guide.

The guide describes it as "Part wine shop, part deli, part restaurant – and wholly excellent."
