D.Morgan

Turnover and profits have climbed at a Cheshire-headquartered civil engineering company, which was established more than 70 years ago, in what it described as a "challenging period".

D.Morgan, based in Ellesmere Port, was established in 1950 and provides services such as civil engineering, the design, development and construction of major schemes, earthworks and remediation, and demolition and recycling. The group's vehicles and plant feature a distinctive green and yellow livery.

Its clients include listed companies, housebuilders, project management contracts and government agencies.

For the year ended 31 May 2023, turnover jumped from £44.7m to £60.4m, while pre-tax profit increased from £1.9m to £2.6m.
