Indoor Padel venue with bistro coffee bar opens in Chester

A brand new premium Padel club has opened in Chester featuring its own bistro coffee bar.

Padel Sheds has launched the new facility in the city as part of ambitious UK expansion plans.

The 12,000 sq ft centre, in Matrix Court, is not only the first indoor padel venue in Chester, but also the first of its kind in the wider region — signalling a bold new chapter for padel’s growth across the UK.

A spokesperson for the company said: "Padel Sheds Chester features four world-class indoor courts and brings a slice of Roland Garros-style elegance to Britain. Designed with a focus on community, quality, and experience, the club redefines what a modern padel venue can be.

"The facility is centred around a beautifully curated bistro-style coffee and sports bar, creating a space where sport, leisure, and social connection come together."

James Doak, CEO and Founder of Padel Sheds, added: "We wanted to build a venue that not only delivers world-class padel, but also creates an atmosphere where people genuinely want to spend time.

“We’ve spared no expense to make sure it feels premium from the moment you walk through the door — from the quality of the courts and changing facilities to the drinks we serve and the lighting above the bar."

The indoor design ensures year-round playability, free from the unpredictability of British weather - a crucial factor in growing the game locally.
