Lauren Ellis, owner of LDE Studios on Whitby Road, in a finalist in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards in the Make up Artist of the Year category.

Lauren said: "I have been doing make up for five years now which is an achievement by itself! I have worked with clothing brands and beauty pageants and offer wedding and occasion make up.

"I opened LDE Studios in November 2021 just after coronavirus, we have an amazing team of girls providing all beauty treatments however I personally specialise in make up."
