New Winsford B&M superstore opens to welcome first customers

The first customers have been welcomed through the doors at Winsford's new B&M superstore.

The discount retailer has officially opened its new premises in the town centre on the former Fountain Court site.

Built as part of the ongoing £22.5 million regeneration of the town centre, the 22,587sqft store underwent a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment before opening.

The B&M store manager at Winsford was delighted with the launch, which has created more than 29 jobs for people in the area.

They said: "It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors; the feedback so far has been fantastic.

"A big thank you to the team at The Salvation Army who helped us open the store; we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do."

The team at B&M were asked to nominate a local charity deserving some VIP treatment for the work they do for the community.

At the new store, customers can expect to find a variety of branded groceries at discount prices, including a range of food, drinks, and pet food.

There will also be a selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and more.
