A NEW vineyard on the outskirts of Chester is the realisation of a dream for two wine enthusiasts.
Vines of Cheshire stretches across the south and south-west facing hillside in Backford, carefully positioned to capture every precious hour of sunshine.
Though it recently held its launch event, its roots stretch back many years and include countless hors of hard work and passion that began thousands of miles away.
Travelling as backpackers through the famous Barossa and Hunter Valleys in Australia, founders Simon and Mandy Pryce discovered a fascination with vineyards that would stay with them long after their travels had ended.
