A HARD-WORKING husband and wife who moved from North Wales to a farm in Cheshire West now have a farm shop to show for it too.
Hollie Sturla, 31, and George Sturla, 33, moved along with their animals to Home Farm after around a decade on parcels of land let from other people.
Hollie, a school teacher, and George, a sales rep, have full-time responsibilities to go with farming responsibilities for dozens of cows, pigs and sheep.
As if it is not enough they now have a farm shop which is open every other weekend including this weekend on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19.
Hollie told the Chester Standard's sister title the Northwich and Winsford Guardian: "George and I were born in North Wales but all of my family were from Cheshire and a lot of my family were farmers in Cheshire.
"George's parents were not farmers here but his grandparents were farmers here so it is a bit of a special connection."
The offering is their own beef, lamb and pork as well as eggs, honey and potatoes from local farms and other products from local firms like Bidlea, Bourne's and Mrs Darlington's.
